Image Policy
Rolla Skate Club may take photographs of members and participants during classes or events to be used on social media or in email newsletters. Please contact us prior to attending lessons or events if you do not want your image shared.
Code of Conduct
By purchasing a Rolla membership, credit pack, event ticket, visitor pass, or attending an Intro to Rolla class, you agree:
– To respect fellow skaters and the physical space
– To skate safely and conscientiously
– That reckless or disrespectful behaviour will result in being asked to leave without a refund
– Personal filming is allowed but not of other skaters without their consent
– No outside music sources
– No food or drinks on the rink floor
Gender Inclusion Policy
Sport inclusion is a fundamental value for Rolla Skate Club and a True Sport principle. We also recognize that having a more diverse organization will only strengthen our sport. As a result, our organization is fully committed to providing a safe, supportive and respectful environment for all of our participants, members and staff regardless of any differences based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, or disability. Rollas Helping Rollas – Bursary Program
We are a community within a larger community and we hope to remove barriers to anyone who wants to rollerskate. We believe in giving back and making a difference through charitable works, inclusion and accessibility. Learn more about our Bursary Program here.
Children at Class Policy
Children welcome to accompany you to Rolla Skate Club, provided that they can remain seated in the seating area for the entire duration of your class or session. For insurance and safety reasons, children may not be in any of the skating areas during adult classes at any time. No scooters, bikes, skateboards, etc. are allowed inside Rolla Skate Club. Our primary responsibility is to the safety and enjoyment of our Rolla customers, and your little people. If a child’s behaviour is disruptive to the class, skaters or staff, we will ask you not to bring them to class in the future.
COVID-19 Policy
Our COVID-19 Safety Plan has been developed following the guidance from WorkSafe BC. You can review and download the Safety Plan here.
